Guided tour of Sydney Jewish Museum, Darlinghurst Travel by trains to Kings Cross via Town Hall. Walk along Darlinghurst Road to museum, arriving for lunch at museum café at 12 noon. One-hour guided tour from 1pm, but members are welcome to stay on afterwards to further explore exhibits at their own pace. Travel times: North Shore line train departs Hornsby 10.26am (Waitara 10.28, Wahroonga 10.30, Turramurra 10.34); Macquarie Park line departs Normanhurst 10.29am, Thornleigh 10.32, Pennant Hills 10.34. Change at Town Hall (lower level) for train departing 11.32, arriving at Kings Cross 11.36am. |

Monday 26th March 2018 |
Tobruk Australian Merino Sheep Station, Maroota Our featured trip for 2018. Travel by Hopkinsons coach departing Hornsby station at 9am. On arrival have Billy Tea and damper with golden syrup in the Drovers Camp with panoramic view of the Blue Mountains. Followed by demonstrations of sheep shearing & wool room tour, mustering with Australian Kelpies. Enjoy true Aussie BBQ, then further activities including whip cracking and boomerang throwing. |

Thursday 26th April 2018 |
Adventure excursion to “Summer Bay” Travel by train to Woy Woy. Bus to Ettalong wharf. Fantasea ferry trip across Broken Bay to Palm Beach. 5-minute walk to Club Palm Beach for group Bistro meal. Return options: (1) Ferry back to Ettalong, bus to Woy Woy and train to Hornsby. (2) Bus to city (Wynyard) and train back north. |
